Clone Wars TV series scheduled

It'll hit in October

As any dedicated Jedi already knows, the Clone Wars flick still swinging 'sabres in cinemas was only the beginning.

The film was always intended as an opener for the weekly animated Clone Wars series which now has a place in the TV schedule.

It'll hit small screens on 3 October with opening episode 'Ambush' sending Yoda to the strategic system Toydaria, fighting Count Dooku's assassin Ventress along the way.

So, get ready to meet new planets and people that seem to have been named by chucking a load of Scrabble tiles on the floor, whilst saving your cash for a new flood of merchandise. We can’t wait!
