The Coen Brothers have been locking down a pretty spectacular cast for True Grit.
Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges have already signed on for Joel and Ethan's remake of the 1969 John Wayne western.
And now Hailee Steinfeld has fought off competition from over 15,000 teenage girls to nab the part of Mattie Ross.
The character is pretty pivotal, as she enlists Bridges' US Marshall to track down her father's killer before Damon's Texas Ranger gets there first.
This has potential to be an astounding breakout role, so hopefully the Coens' faith in the newcomer will pay off.
True Grit is due out in the US at the end of this year.
