Concept art revealed for The Crow reboot

What it would have looked like with Bradley Cooper

Earlier this year it appeared that the project to reboot The Crow was gathering real pace, with 28 Weeks Later helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo in place to direct and Bradley Cooper attached to star.

Sadly, repeated delays and various scheduling conflicts led to both men jumping ship in the ensuing months, leaving the project in limbo once more. One thing that does remain however, is a series of images representing the concept art for a Cooper-played Crow.

Designed by artist Diego Latorre, the images show what Cooper would have looked like as the franchise’s Gothic hero, and give an impression of the general look Fresnadillo was going for. Take a look at the images below to get a sense of what might have been…

What do you make of the images? Would Cooper have made a good Crow, or have things worked out for the best? Tell us!

Although I'm firmly in the "STOP REMAKING THINGS!" corner, I feel the damage has already been done to The Crow franchise with the assorted awful sequals, so a reboot could do no harm. However, looking at those pictures basically brings pop-rock and emo kids to mind. I think with the names previously attached it could have been good, but will studios resist the urge to dumb it down for a 12 cert and try to appeal to the Twilight audience?

Another unnecessary remake. Looks like a goth's wet dream. They've either bagged Bradley Cooper or they're seriously banking on him taking the part.
