He’ll play the Knave Of Hearts for Tim Burton

Crispin Glover has signed up for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, joining a cast that already includes Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway.

Glover will play the Knaves Of Hearts in the story, according to The Hollywood Reporter – he’s the character accused of stealing the Queen (Helen Bonham Carter)’s tarts.

He’s defended by Alice (Mia Wasikowska) in Lewis Caroll’s story.

Performance Capture

It’s not Glover’s first time in the world of performance capture, the animation technique that Burton is using: he played Grendel in Beowulf.

Burton’s filming right now and the cast also includes the likes of Michael Sheen and Matt Lucas.

It’s shockingly the first time Glover and Tim Burton have worked together- you’d think they’d have collaborated before now.
