Presented by Spike Lee, newbie helmer Kevin Willmott’s flick takes the guise of a British documentary that shows how America would have turned out if the South had won the war.
Humorous but often pretty startling, this mockumentary is a startling look at how slavery would have evolved in the 21st century, complete with ad breaks that are so damn real it’s worrying.
