Darren Aronofsky builds Riverview Towers

A psychological thriller for the goggle box…

Darren Aronofsky is one of those creative types who are never happier than when they’ve got several hundred projects on the go at once. Not content with developing lots of movies, he’s also now turning his attention to TV.

The Requiem For A Dream director is aiming to get psychological thriller Riverview Towers  - the tale of a family who moves into a spooky apartment building – on the air with AMC. You might know the channel better as the people who brought us the superb Mad Men.

While there’s no deal in place to even make a pilot yet, John J McLaughlin is hard at work penning a fresh script. The Hollywood Reporter is tuning in.
