If you can’t get Alan Moore to big up your adaptation of his work (and let’s face it, no one can), the next best thing is to have Dave Gibbons do it instead. Gibbons, you see, is the artist behind the seminal Watchmen graphic novel and he’s been very active behind the scenes of Zack Snyder’s film – watching dailies, looking at concept art and generally being a font of Watchmen knowledge.
