Reports are coming in from various news sources that Kung Fu and Kill Bill star David Carradine has been found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok.
Carradine, 72, was there to shoot a new movie, his agent said. According to ABC Local, his agent confirmed his death this morning, saying the actor had been was in great spirits.
Other reports are coming in that Thai Police are treating the death as an apparent suicide. One source cites officials claiming he hung himself in a closet.
Update 1: The BBC are now reporting that David Carradine has been found dead in his hotel room.
The actor was in Thailand filming his latest movie Stretch. Personal manager Chuck Binder said the news was "shocking", adding: "He was full of life, always wanting to work... a great person."
Update 2:Bangkok, Thailand (BNO News) is coming in with more information: Officials say Carradine did not show up when he and his film crew were supposed to dine at a restaurant in the Thai capital on Wednesday, but they assumed he took a break because of his age.
On Thursday, at around 10 a.m., a hotel maid opened his suite and found the star hanging in a closet. There were no signs of a struggle.
His agent confirmed to KABC-TV that Carradine had died, but said he believed the star died of natural causes.
