While David Cross (star of cult US TV comedies Mr Show and Arrested Development is someone we definitely expect to see in a comedy, Michael Vartan is not someone who naturally springs to mind (despite appearing in Monster-In-Law). Still, the pair are teaming up to bring the funny with Demoted.
It’s the story of two tyre salesmen who work in a car store and always compete. Rodney (Vartan) is the cocksure charmer and is always making fun of the nervous Ken (Cross). But when their boss dies unexpectedly, it’s Ken who nabs a promotion – and turns Rodney into a secretary for a taste of his own medicine.
