David Wenham, Rachel Taylor, Geoffrey Rush and Jim Sturgess are all adding their voices to Zack Snyder’s ‘toon Guardians Of Ga’Hoole.
Snyder has been sneakily gearing up the film even as he works on Watchmen, and Guardians has been slowly cranking away in Australia.
Produced by the Happy Feet animation team, it finds a young barn owl and his mates trying to escape a group of rogue owls.
So Watership Down, then. But with owls.
The movie’s based on the first three installments of Kathryn Lasky’s kids’ book series.
If it’s a hit, they’re covered – there are at least 15 books and counting…
