After playing a heroic Spartan in 300, David Wenham has decided that he’d rather pursue a life of crime by joining Johnny Depp’s gang in Public Enemies.
The former Faramir will play Pete Pierpont, a brutal criminal with a serious dislike of authority. And Wenham’s not the only new recruit; This Is England’s Stephen Graham (he played Combo) has also agreed to wield a Tommy Gun as Baby Face Nelson.
With Christian Bale on their trail and Michael Mann directing, everyone starts shooting in March. Head to The Hollywood Reporter for more.
