Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool still in development

Actor will tackle both R.I.P.D. And Wolverine spinoff

Fans of the comic book character Deadpool are still in with a chance of seeing the wise-cracking mercenary get his own film, if a statement from actor Ryan Reynolds is to be believed.
Reynolds told MTV on the red carpet for his latest film The Change-Up that 20th Century Fox's Deadpool film is still being developed.
"I'm doing R.I.P.D. next and then hopefully Deadpool," Reynolds told an MTV reporter. "It's in development still."
It was looking as if a busy shooting schedule might make Reynolds choose between comic book franchises, but R.I.P.D. and Deadpool are clearly both pencilled in.
Reynolds first played Deadpool, better known as Wade Winston Wilson, in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Visual effects specialist Tim Miller is currently attached to direct.

With Green Lantern in thre bag and R.I.P.D. already on the cards, does Ryan Reynolds need a third superhero franchise? Tell us in the comment section below.
