One of these days, an astronaut in a film will spot an abandoned, hulking, darkened space craft and decide that they maybe shouldn’t investigate what happen to it, and instead fly off to a planet where beer flows like water. Or something.
But that would be a very different film and the producers of Pandorum are hoping that sending Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster into space for the tale of crewmen who must discover what happened to them and the planet they were orbiting.
Christian Alvart is directing this summer, provided the actors’ strike doesn’t get in the way first. Oh, and The Hollywood Reporter is strapping on its thruster pack.
