Does Little Fockers have a director?
Pete Segal might be the man for the job…

Universal may be close to locking down a director for the third instalment in the Fockers trilogy – Get Smart helmer Pete Segal.
Segal was planning to kick off making the Get Smart sequel, but that has been pushed back slightly since Steve Carell has decided to make Date Night with Tina Fey first.
Universal is ploughing ahead with the lucrative franchise- with John Hamburg writing Little Fockers – despite regular director Jay Roach not being involved this time around.
Segal’s apparently meeting with the producers this week to figure out a deal and is juggling his schedule so he can work on Fockers, then segue on to the next Smart outing.
