Don Quixote back on the horse?

Can Terry Gilliam get his passion project on its feet again?

File this one under “We’ll believe it when we see it”, but in the subsection marked, “We really, really want to see it.” Terry Gilliam has been talking to The Independent, and mentioned that The Man Who Killed Don Quixote might actually be ready to ride again.

The first attempt crashed and burned in 2000, forming the basis for the documentary Lost In La Mancha, but according to Gilliam, he’s ready to try again.  "As far as we're concerned, it's on," he told the newspaper. "When Johnny's ready, we're ready. We're just talking about dates to film. Basically it all depends on his schedule but otherwise we're set. It will be next year some time, before next summer anyway."
