Eddie Murphy talks Beverly Hills Cop IV

"Let's get the franchise fixed again..."

Eddie Murphy is not, it would appear, a big fan of Beverly Hills Cop III. In fact, in this new interview with MTV, he calls it some very nasty names.

And despite rumours to the contrary, it looks like Murphy’s more than happy to slip back into the Foley mannerisms for a fourth go-around. "Don't just leave Axel with his thumb up his ass from the last movie. Whatever happened to Axel Foley? He's sitting in Detroit with his thumb up his ass since Beverly Hills Cop III. Let's take those thumbs out and make a great movie!" And yes folks, he wants plenty of swearing.
