The first trailer for Martin Campbell's Edge Of Darkness has arrived on the web and you can view it below.

There's a fair amount riding on this film - Campbell is essentially remaking his own superb BBC miniseries and Mel… is mostly hoping that it puts the focus back on his career instead of his screwed up personal life.

From the looks of the trailer, it has the same creepy conspiracy edge (no pun intended) that fueled the original, with strong support from the likes of Ray Winstone, Danny Huston and I Love You, Beth Cooper's Shawn Roberts.
