Elizabeth Banks is continuing her drama run by signing up for Paul Haggis' new film, The Next Three Days.
Adapted from French thriller Pour Elle (below), the film will see a couple (Banks and Russell Crowe) find their lives spinning out of control when the wife is accused of murder.
In his desperate attempt to help her, Crowe's character goes to enormous, dangerous and relationship-troubling lengths.
While Banks is still best known for her comedy roles, she's always been mixing it up, most recently with the likes of The Uninvited and W.
Haggis plans to start shooting next month.
