Showgirls star is in Donnie Darko sequel

Donnie Darko 2: The Revenge has added two new cast members, and one of them was in Showgirls.
Elizabeth Berkley has signed up to play a speed freak turned religious enthusiast in the flick, which we believe may be called Donnie Darko 2: Electric Boogaloo.
The other new signing to Donnie Darko 2: Attack Of The Clones is Briana Evigan, who you may remember from Step Up 2 the Streets. She'll be playing Samantha's best friend, who'll be accompanying her on a road trip in which she'll encounter a giant talking badger or something.
