Emile Hirsch is off to Woodstock

He’ll star in Ang Lee’s ‘60s comedy…

Ang Lee announced back in April that he would be gearing up to make his latest movie – an adaptation of Elliot Tiber’s memoir Taking Woodstock – and now he has a cast.

Emile Hirsch, Imelda Staunton and Liev Schreiber are all joining a cast that already features Demetri Martin as Tiber, the man who volunteered his family’s motel as the base for the team planning the Woodstock festival.

James Schamus scribbled the script and Lee will start shooting later this month. Variety is finding its tie-die T-shirts.

Hint: The film starred Michael J Fox as accidental time traveller Marty McFly.
