Exclusive Avengers cast video interview: watch now

The heroes on the making of the film and their fellow cast members

Avengers Assemble castmembers including Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Cobie Smulders and more reveal a few little tid-bits in a new interview featurette, which you can conveniently watch below.

Compliments abound as the Avengers discuss assembling on set for the first time and developing the characters from their original films. There's insight into the mind of villainy from Tom Hiddleston and How I Met Your Mother star Smulders talks weaponry, bossing around Samuel L. Jackson and being intimidated on set by Robert Downey Jnr.

Clark Gregg also comments on the pivotal role of Agent Coulson, and there's loads of footage of the heroes themselves: action-packed shots of Thor's hammer flipping cars, Iron Man himself discussing The Hulk and the Black Widow looking dashing and deadly.

Check out The Avengers featurette right now:

Just saw the movie today. Believe the hype! It is far and away the best blockbuster of the year so far. Full on action and brilliantly funny, all the leads pull their weight (except Johansson who is dependably one-note and useless).

That's b*****ks , Johansson is great but the award for the best Avenger goes to ...... HULK! Go see this as it is the best comic book movie so far. Marvel will now need to raise their game for any upcoming movies.

Totally agree with @Sharkface, easily the best Marvel film to date and only really the Batman films can push it for being best comic book movie full stop. Absolutely enjoyed it and for thise who haven't seen i would suggest you go into it knowing as little as possible. Don't let anyone even think about "telling this one little cool bit that happens"

Oh and by the way you can see Marvel sqeezing Hulk into one of their other films or considering another solo outing for the wonderful Mr Ruffalo , this guy has managed to make Hulk viable in a way which even the tv series did not - Seriously!

It was excellent! My award for best performance definitely goes to Tom Hiddleston though. Loki is a brilliant character. My only complaint with this film is that he didn't win!!
