Exclusive Comic-Con posters for 300: Rise Of An Empire

Day 6 - Themistokles

Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton)

300: Rise Of An Empire is releasing a whole bunch of new character posters to coincide with Comic-Con 2013, and you can see a new one here every day.

The next chapter in the 300 saga focuses on the battle between Persian god-king Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his armies, and the forces of Greece, led by Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) and Artemisia (Eva Green).

This time round, the battle takes place at sea, which should provide scope for some epic new action sequences.

Directed by Noam Murro, with a script from Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad, like its predecessor, 300: Rise Of An Empire is based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller, and will open in the UK on 7 March 2014.

We’ll be debuting six posters in total, starting with the Protosamurai…

We could certainly do with a Summer of Super Heroes rather than the Chinless Wonders who endlessly yack yack yack.
