A new poster has arrived for Expendables 2 (looks like they've done away with the "The") and predictably, it's as macho as a pub brawl before a Millwall game.
The poster shows the bulk of the film’s grizzled stars firing their big guns in unison, including new additions Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris. Arnie is also on display, clinging to a massive firearm in the way a small child might hold a security blanket.
Sandwiched between all those rippling biceps is Chinese actress Nan Yu, who surprisingly gets the nod ahead of fellow newcomer Liam Hemsworth. Perhaps he wasn’t considered gruff enough to sell the film.
Expendables 2 arrives in UK screens on 17 August 2012. In the meantime, you can shout one-liners at the snarl-tastic poster below…

Unfortunately, they used the entire budget on airbrushing so there's nothing left for the actual movie :p

At least R.E.D played upon the fact that the entire cast were old farts who could still kick butt. I only wish they could've made this in the eighties; Stallone ran like an old man with arthritis in the last one!!!

The first one was stupid and not good stupid either, not even Hobo with a Shutgun stupid because that was just sh*t. As the other dude said at least RED was tongue in cheek enough to be entertaining, the Expendables was stupid and boring.

too bad, mickey's decided NOT to return. i still want to see sly's former action co-stars to join the cast, like mr. T, wesley snipes, carl weathers (who also costarred with arnie in the original predator), antonio banderas and kurt russell. also...who'd replace jet li, or at least his place as the resident martial artist (a GENUINE martial artist, not the phony, white-washed versions like the jean-claudes, the norrises or the lundgrens)??
