Harrison Ford is in a race for the cure

The first promo for medical drama Extraordinary Measures, starring Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser, can be watched below.

Inspired by a true story, it follows Fraser and wife Keri Russell as the desperate parents of two very ill children.

Losing hope, they decide to track down the one medical genius (Ford) who may just hold the key to prolonging the kids' lives. But it comes with a serious price tag and the doctor is not your traditional hero.

How's the trailer? Well, you know those based-on-truth films where you can predict each beat before it shows up, and the footage seems to lay out almost the whole film? This is one of those.

It's a little bit on the nose for our liking, but all the thesps seem solid enough. Have a watch and let us know your opinion…
