First clip from A Good Day To Die Hard: watch now

“Knock knock!”

The first clip has arrived online from A Good Day To Die Hard, and pleasingly, it jumps straight in at the deep end with one of the film’s marquee action sequences.

The new clip shows John McClane getting up to his old tricks in the midst of a high-speed car chase. He even manages to shake off getting hit by a speeding vehicle in a matter of seconds!

There are some pleasingly meaty collisions on display in this brief clip, and the action looks as though it’s as cheerfully OTT as that which has gone before it.

Take a look, below:

The new film sees McClane out of his comfort zone in good old Mother Russia, where he finds his estranged son up to his neck in dealings with some very nasty people indeed. Needless to say, it isn’t long before father and son are teaming up to take out the trash.

Directed by John Moore and starring Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney and Amaury Nolasco, A Good Day To Die Hard will open in the UK on 14 Fenruary 2013. Mmm, romantic!

What do you think of the new clip? Tell us, below!

Matt - you are right - B list director and scriptwriter, with his bald head I just don't think of him as McClane, could be any other Willis action film.....should of got Shane Black to write the screenplay, trust me this film is made for teenagers, I'd even have Renny Harlin direct it than John Moore!

I've got to say, against all odds' i'm looking forward to this one. Yeah I know Mattburgess is probably right. And yeah rickyboy999, so are you... probably. But i can't help but hope that there is just enough magic in the script to make us really root for McLean again. I expect the character to have changed with age, experience and beatings. And hey, lets face it every willis character has always tried to capture some of that die hard magic. ( I swear Die Hard is the only reason I joined the force) I don't know about you guys, but i'll be going to watch it with a massive popcorn, the biggest drink I can buy, and a glint in my eye. * How can the same Sh*t happen to the same guy twice?"
