Today's trailers should be sponsored by Matt Damon, because he appears in at least two of them. This time, he's the star of Paul Greengrass' Green Zone.
The film - which see's Damon's warrant office sent out to Iraq to find supposed weapons of mass destruction stockpiled, only to discover a huge cover-up - was moved from a late 2009 release to a 2010 spot.
This first promo makes it look a lot more like a straight action drama than an awards-contending piece, but it also appears to be a gritty, driven thriller in the jittery Greengrass style.
Bourne goes to Iraq? Maybe. Still, we'll be happy to watch it whenever it arrives, so take a look at the trailer and decide for yourself...

Hmmm I've read the book that this is based on and I use the word based in its widest possible term because that was a sort of Freakonomics/McMafia style look at the war in Iraq where as this really does look like Bourne 4. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but maybe a different lead actor/director would have been better. Hey ho I'll still go and watch it.
