Filming on Sly Stallone’s action sequel The Expendables 2 is well underway, and a new batch of set pictures released online shows our heroes are just as badass as ever.
As well as getting our first look at a very stern-looking Jean-Claude Van Damme, we also get Terry Crews performing his own personal gun-show, Bruce Willis posing with extras and Randy Couture looking as though he’s about to go big-game hunting.
Wacky old JCVD appears to be living up to his new persona as the joker in the pack. Look at him pointing that gun at his head, the big silly! Hahahahahahaha. Ha. Ahem, excuse us, our sides have just split.
Of course, Van Damme, Crews, Couture, Willis and Stallone are just half of the most pumped-up cast in action movie history, with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Liam Hemsworth all set to feature when the film arrives on 17 August 2012.

im looking forward to this film, it must be the only time so may poor actors are being put together ad its a great thing lol (not saying they are all bad but def most) glad to see bruce willis is having more screen time, hopefully more than van damme who apart from steven seagal has to be up there for truly terrible "actors" that have barely made a decent film, but because of their history as an action star its going to be great to see them ....... and i liked battlefield earth, im ashamed of it and my friends use it as a source of ridicule, but i want to ask @dalidab1982 a question, in another post you wanted tom cruises face melted by acid as hes a scientologist but battlefield earth was written by L. Ron Hubbard... the actual founder of scientology, sure thats a contradiction? lol

So here's my take: Bruce Willis and his Agency pals try to take out the Expendables and Arnold's crew because (insert plot point) but instead only manages to kill Mickey Rourke and maybe some other randoms. Sly and co. team up with Arnold and HIS team which includes Chuck Norris and this Hemsworth guy and go after Willis who is hiding out in Europe. Then it turns out that Van Damme is Bruce's right-hand-man/bodyguard and he and Dolph go head to head in an epic rematch (this MUST happen at least). Finally, we need a big a*s shootout with Stallone vs Willis topped off by Arnold turning up with the biggest f*****g gun imaginable and finishes the job.

I can't wait for this movie! My boyfriend and I saw the first one in the theatres and we absolutely LOVED IT! We were the only ones cheering and laughing throughout the entire movie... I guess people don't have a sense of humour :P Anyway, I seriously can't wait for this!!
