We're not sure if we've heard of two films with three titles before, which would be reason enough to get excited about Steven Soderbergh's Che (or, the Argentine and Guerrilla, two flicks, both starring Benicio Del Toro as Argentine revolutionary Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara).
But if these pictures are anything to go by, there are at least two other reasons to get excited. 1) Del Toro disappearing in the role he was clearly born to play and 2) The promise of a bit of action.
Could one flick be an artsy mediation on Guevara's life, and the other a slick highbrow action flick? We can but hope...
