First pics from Dawn Treader

New Narnia adventure sets sail

It's over a year away from release and we're not sure if its intended audience isn't more interested in Twilight than Dawn, but for those who are interested, check out these pics from The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader.

With Andrew Adamson, the director of the first two films, taking a break after whipping up CS Lewis's fantasy world with the help of those clever Weta folks, Michael Apted (The World Is Not Enough) has taken the helm for this third trip through the wardrobe.

Voyage Of The Dawn Treader sees Lucy (Georgia Henley) and Edmund Pevensie (Skandar Keynes) return to Narnia to find their cousin, teaming up with Ben Barnes' Caspian for a sea voyage.

Check out wee little Lucy on the titular ship itself, although as Georgie Henley is now 14, she's probably old enough to get her sailing license by now.

For more details, check out the film's Facebook page.

The Narnia frnachise is trying to live up to Lord of the Rings and it cannot do that. Everything about it is so childish. I mean the special effects in this are no better than the wons in LOTR 6 years ago
