Skyfallhas released a first official poster, and a beautifully minimalist one it is too, featuring an unsmiling Daniel Craig in the classic gun-barrel framing.
The new poster is very much in keeping with the gritty, back to basics Bond portrayed by Craig since Casino Royale, dispensing with the frills to ensure that 007 remains the star of the show.
No cackling villains on hand here then, nor Javier Bardem's shocking blonde mop. Just a Double-O agent packing a pistol and preparing for business.
That said, Bond's lighter side will come to the surface in the film itself, with Craig promising that the script will be peppered with a few of 007's trademark one-liners. “You have to have a script that has the bones of comedy,” said Craig. “Comedy in Bond films, for me, comes out of the situations people get into."
"They're exciting, and hopefully heart-stopping," he continues, "and the comedy comes out of one-liners and things. There's a lightness of touch in the writing that's not been as evident in the past two."

Daniel Craig made an excellent Bond, so I am totally on board for another film. Even though Quantum of Solace was a weak film, it was not because of Craig at all. He is second only to Connery in being a kick a*s spy. this poster succeeds where the prometheus poster fails. this one is minimal and psychological, i reminds me why i like bond films

FBSHarrigan- Daniel Craig is a good actor, but he is not 2nd only to Sean Connery. Peirce Brosnan easily tops Daniel Craig as the best Bond. Daniel Craigs movies have been good, but as for a bond film, they shouldn't even be called so. I feel that without the gadgets or Q, for me at least the directors lost the true touch of Bond films. My hopes is that there is some kind of this because they are using the same poster that was used in Goldeneye. ( I still have mine)
