First trailer for dramatic comedy A.C.O.D.: watch now

"If I see that woman again I'm gonna kick her in the balls"

The first trailer for dramedy A.C.O.D. has gone online, replete with a constellation of stars including Adam Scott, Richard Jenkins, Catherine O'Hara and Jane Lynch.

Meaning 'Adult Children Of Divorce', the plot of A.C.O.D. follows Carter (Scott), who survived his parents' divorce and has become - seemingly - a well-adjusted adult.

When his brother gets engaged, though, it's Carter's job to reunite his warring parents, which sends him into something of a tailspin.

Suggesting that A.C.O.D. will come fully-loaded with both heart and humour, this first trailer reminds us of some of the better indie comedies we've seen recently.

The cast is also to die for, with a salt-and-pepper Catherine O'Hara and Jane Lynch garnering most of the laughs - though Richard Jenkins isn't afraid of a little scene-stealing.

The film is the directorial debut of Stu Zicherman and also stars Amy Poehler, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jessica Alba.

A.C.O.D. is yet to receive a UK release date.
