Killing Them Softly has released a first trailer online, and it’s every bit as stylish and classy as you’d expect.
Directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination Of Jesse James), Killing Them Softly follows Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt), who investigates a heist that took place during a poker game.
The thriller’s impressive cast also includes Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins and James Gandolfini.
With a soundtrack courtesy of Johnny Cash, some gorgeous visuals, and Pitt on fine form (“I like to kill them softly, from a distance,” he whispers, confirming the title comes from a line of dialogue rather than a Fugees song), this is looking like one of the most interesting films of the year.
