Savages, the new crime thriller from Oliver Stone, has released a first full trailer online, and its just about as scuzzy, cool and explodey as we could have hoped for!
Based on Don Winslow’s best-selling crime novel, Savages will follow a pair of dope dealers (Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch) who are both involved with the beautiful Blake Lively.
All is well (if a little unconventional) in their world until a Mexican drug gang (headed up by Salma Hayek) moves into their town, and doesn’t feel very much like sharing the territory.
Take a look at the action-packed trailer, below…
It looks pretty epic, doesn’t it? Aside from all the thrills and spills, it’s nice to see John Travolta in a role that looks worthy of his time. The shock with which he treats Kitsch’s attack on him is priceless!
Savages opens in the UK on 28 September 2012. It looks as though Oliver Stone is back with a bang…

Looks like a mess. It could be a glorious chaotic mess like natural born killers or it could be a god awful mess like southland tales.

@writerdave It's because there are scantly clad young males for our Dalidab to gaze at.
