We’ve known the Fraggles were planning to make the move to movies for a while now, but nothing has been official, short of the Henson Company making the announcement.
Well, now Harvey Weinstein has decided to change that by opening his wallet and flashing the green (and the green light) to make the film a reality. Hoodwinked helmer Cory Edwards will write and direct the musical comedy, which will see the main characters – that’s Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red leave the safe confines of their underground dwellings and visit with humans, who they think are aliens.
