Frank Coraci helms Mild Things

Old School meets Look Who's Talking, anyone?

Frank Coraci’s career has been a bit of a mixed bag. He saw big success with one of Adam Sandler’s best films – The Wedding Singer – but since then has pumped out some real stinkers (Around The World In 80 Days, Click).

But Click’s hefty box office haul has tempted New Line to grab him for megaphone duties on Mild Things. The comedy, which we’ve reported on previously, finds a couple going on a “baby bender”, living like party animals for a few months before settling down into life as parents. Michael Colton and John Aboud wrote the script, which we’re sure is full of life lessons.

There’s no word on who will play the hard-living couple, or when Coraci will start calling action.
