George Carlin, still best known for his comic routines including Seven Dirty Words, has died in LA aged 71.
Film fans will know him as Rufus in both Bill & Ted films, while Kevin Smith aficionados will recall his roles as a corrupt cardinal in Dogma and Ben Affleck’s grump-worthy dad in Jersey Girl.
More recently, he lent his voice to Pixar’s Cars, playing hippie VW van Fillmore. He’ll be sorely missed.
