The makers of Jumper appear to have figured that if you can’t launch a massive viral campaign for your movie (unless you count those pyramid-board vans that trundled round outside of last year’s Comic-Con), you might try pumping out a prequel story in the form of a graphic novel.
Oni Press is the company charged with bringing us a warm-up for Doug Liman’s sci fi adventure, which hits cinema screens on Valentine’s Day. There’s no word on when or if the comic will strike our stores, but chances are the usual places (Forbidden Planet etc) will carry it. Meanwhile, Oni has helpfully put 23 pages of the 96-page comic, called Jumpscars, online for your reading pleasure.
