Back in 2003, the remake of Freaky Friday made lots of money for Disney. So it only stands to reason that a sequel would be developed.
Yet now, six years later, the Mouse House is not behind a possible new film - nope, CBS Films is spurring the sequel project, albeit with the Lindsay Lohan movie's team attached to shepherd it along.
Director MArk Waters - who will apparently only produce this time and producer Andrew Gunn are overseeing work on adapting the novel Freaky Monday, written by Heather Hach and Mary Rodgers.
Hach was one of the writers on the 2003 film, which Rodgers also wrote the original Friday book.
The new plot will focus on a smart, yet nervy girl who switches places with her sympathetic English teacher for a day. And as of right now, Lindsay Lohan is not involved. Every body calm down…
