Anthony Puzo is not a happy man. He wants justice. He’s claiming that Paramount owes his royalties to the estate of Mario Puzo, creator of the Godfather. He believes the company should pay $1 million in damages due to the family after the success of the spin-off Godfather video game which was launched in 2006.
But he’s not turning to a shadowy Mafia overlord for assistance – he’s lodged a lawsuit in court. The case is set to heat up shortly and Variety will be in court.
