With Mike Newell getting ready to direct the latest Bruckheimer blockbuster, the rumours have started to trickle in. While leaked casting sides mentioned the filmmakers looking for a Persian, and Pirates Of The Caribbean swashbuckler Orlando Bloom already touted and shot down, it was only a matter of time before the latest possible Prince ambled online.
According to Latino Review Jake Gyllenhaal is mulling over an offer to play the lead. As usual, take this with a serving of salt roughly equivalent to the amount of sand likely to be featured in the desert-set movie and we’ll let you know how it pans out.
