The basic pitch sounds a little bit more like something dreamed up by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, but Halle Berry is betting that Frankie And Alice’s plot will prove to be a solid psychological drama.
Ready? The story follows a young black woman suffering from multiple personality disorder who finds herself torn between her true identity and the racist, white hatemonger of an alternate persona who keeps intruding on her mind.
There’s no director attached yet and we don’t know when it’ll kick off shooting. But Variety is following the story.
