Harry Potter 7 gets split
David Yates will direct The Deathly Hallows in two parts...

It's not exactly news to Total Film fans, we told you that The Deathly Hallows would be split way back in January, and announced David Yates as the director in February, but now it's official, we thought we'd remind you.
Potter producer David Heyman told the LA Times that the movies – to be imaginatively titled Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Parts I and II – will both be helmed by now regular director David Yates (currently hard at work on The Half Blood Prince) and scripted by sometime writer Steve Kloves. Expect the first in November 2010 and the second in May 2011. For more, hit the link.
