Has Carnahan found The A-Team's BA?

Ultimate Fighter apparently has the role

Looks like Joe Carnahan might have found his B.A. Baracus for The A-Team as the film gets ready to shoot in Vancouver.

According to the Vancouver Sun, Ultimate Fighting Championship brawler Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has won the coveted role, and has arrived in the city alongside Bradley Cooper (who's playing Face).

While there hasn't been an officially announcement yet - and this is still technically  rumour until we get confirmation - it looks like Jackson is the man for the job, despite a pretty limited acting resume.

He's has mostly small roles in the likes of The Midnight Meat Train, but he can certainly defend himself - and, as, a bonus - is known for his love of large gold chains. Cue money saved by the costume department!

And he's also been considered for the BA role in the past, back when John Singleton was slated to direct it.

Now all we need is a solid sighting of Liam Neeson as Hannibal for for Carnahan to lock in a Howlin' Mad Murdock…

Know Jackson's smack down work? Is he a good choice? We pity the fool who doesn't speak up!

Great choice!!! Closest thing your going to find to a modern day Mr. T in his prime. Wouldn't have a lot of range outside of this role just like T didn't, but personality perfectly suited to it. Think he'll surprise a lot of people because outside of the obvious physicality/intimidation factor he can bring a lot of charisma/likeability and humor to the part which for me where essential qualities in whoever they cast as B.A.

Can we not just tempt Mr T back into the role? He's still looking pretty good and has the ability to say the words "Jibber Jabber" better than any one else in the world.

As a big fan of the UFC the news sucks . It now means the scheduled fight he had with Rashad Evans in december has now been pushed back to 2010 because of this awful movie. Plus it also means Rampage will take his eye off the game and will now end up getting KO'd by Evans next year.
