Hilary Duff knows how to Stay Cool

Despite the shadow of an actors’ strike drawing closer, some films are still finding casts. Take the Polish brothers – that’d be Mark and Michael, who most recently made The Astronaut Famer – who have been rounding up thesps for their new comedy Stay Cool.
Hilary Duff is the latest to sign on to a plot which already includes Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase and Jon Cryer which sees a famous author (Mark Polish) returning to his home high school to deliver a commencement address. Trouble is, he’s facing attention from an unrequited old crush (Ryder) and a sexy senior (Duff), who invites him to the prom.
The Hollywood Reporter is looking for its cap and gown.
