Howard Shore will return to score The Hobbit

Signs on for three years

Howard Shore

Lord Of The Rings composer Howard Shore will return to Middle Earth and score both parts of The Hobbit for Peter Jackson.

The Province revealed that Shore will still be involved with the project, even though he first signed on to compose for Guillermo del Toro a whopping two years ago.

“We've talked about making these movies for many years, at least since 2002,” chats the composer.

“It looks like finally it's going to be happening. I'll be working on it for the next three years. It's going to consume a lot of my time and work now.”

We can think of worse places to spend three years than in Middle Earth…
