Hugh Jackman talks X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Describes it as three films in one

Having barely finished his publicity duties for The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is talking up the X-Men universe once more, waxing lyrical about what we can expect from Days Of Future Past.

“I know, having sat at Comic-Con on that panel with that extraordinary cast,” begins Jackman, “I keep saying it’s like two movies in one, but with the size of it it’s really three in one.”

It’s that size that has some people worried there will be too many characters for just the one film, but Jackman is confident that Bryan Singer is the man to balance all those spinning plates.

“It really is going to blow people away because of the story,” says Jackman. “Bryan Singer, I think, is going to become the first director to make increasingly better movies in a franchise. I’m not sure if there’s anyone else that’s done it.”

Directed by Singer and co-starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 22 May 2014.

The man who admits that Origins: Wolverine was bad is being optimistic about this flick? That's a good thing, I guess.

I like Jackman but i'm starting to think he's full of sh*t when it comes to promoting his upcoming films. He said The Wolverine was "the Wolverine film i've always wanted to make" and it was cr4p!

@BobbyTwoTimes; maybe he always wanted to make a cr4p wolverine film? (origins doesn't count as its way, way beyond cr4p!!)

Bored of Wolverine now, didn't think it was possible. They just milked that character until all mystery was gone.

The Wolverine actually lived up for me, so I kind of want to believe him now.

Oh I hope Cameron ditches the blue, underwater nonsense and makes a worthy sequel to T2. Then surely we'll have a director capable of making increasingly better movies in a franchise.

I agree with jackman, singer do know how to tell a story. Superman returns was good because you felt the spirit of Christopher reeves and Brandon did a great job.it spoiled it with that stupid son storyline.besides that, I loved singers superman universe
