It wasn’t long ago that Eastenders script consultant Tony Jordan was writing dramatic pauses for Grant Mitchell and now the journeyman TV scribbler is sitting down at the keys to tap out a movie.
Jordan pens the hit BBC series Hustle, about a bunch of suited and booted blaggers who sting the worst of London’s wealthy via elaborate schemes. The show has reached our stateside cousins and Fox 2000 has given the thumbs-up for a feature.
The slick show features Magnificent Seven star Robert Vaughn, as well as Wag The Dog’s Adrian Lester and Green Street’s Marc Warren. There's no word yet on the cast for the big screen outing.
Series producer Bharat Nalluri is on board to hold the purse strings.
