Will Ferrell and Jon Heder are flipping through their diaries and thinking of numbers as they negotiate to star in the new skating comedy Blades Of Glory.
The plot focuses on two top-ranking figure skaters who are banned from the sport when they get into a brawl. But after toiling in the minor leagues for three years, they find a loophole in their suspension that allows them to compete – they’ll team up as a figure-skating pair.
Ferrell and Heder as Lycra-clad figure skaters? Sounds laughtastic just from the premise. Consider us convinced… And to add to the comedy value, their rivals will be played by real-life married comedy couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler.
