Indiana Jones to go 3D

Lucas plans re-release...

George Lucas is planning to follow up his 3D Star Wars conversion by shoving Indiana Jones and his mates into the third dimension.

So says Blue Sky Disney, who are claiming that "next month, Lucasfilm will announce that they're converting the Indiana Jones Saga to 3D as well."

Which is great news. We'll take any excuse to go and see the Indiana Jones flicks on the big screen, especially if it includes the option to have a massive boulder rolling toward our faces.

Hell, we'll even wear stupid glasses and watch the fridge get nuked, that's how excited we are.

But what say you? Happy? Or would you rather they hurried up and invented 4D, so you can smell Harrison Ford's dicky tummy in the first one?

I'm not sure about Indy 3D - but the site looks spanky fresh! I'm not disappointed, for once.

Further proof of Lucas's diminishing creativity, while his mate Spielberg has been racking up a massive C.V of films, poor old George is hermitically sealed in Star Wars / Indy land. Still, I.J on the big screen again will be mega!

Hmmm...3D 'rock chase' scene and 'ark-killing Nazis' scene could be 3D worthy. Other than that it's an obvious cash-grab.
