French actress Mélanie Laurent has flown to LA to chat Inglorious Bastards with Quentin Tarantino.
It's not clear what part she's up for, but she's the right age for Shoshanna Dreyfus, the French Jewish girl who escapes the Nazis - that's not a spoiler, it's the opening scene - to work in a Parisian cinema.
Laurent was last seen on the big screen in Cédric Klapisch's Paris, so at least she knows her way around the city.
